National
Industrial Risk Institute
The National
Industrial Risk Institute
(CNRI) acts as a federator for the diverse initiatives undertaken in
the field of industrial and environmental risk prevention. Its scope
is tripartite and spans research, training and support to both the
industrial community and public authorities, with the aim throughout
of improving communication and awareness of risk issues.
Research: affiliated
with university
research laboratories and industries, the CNRI possesses particular
expertise in the area of energetics, explosions, material strength
and structural resistance.
Support to the
industrial community and
public authorities: in collaboration with its partners, the CNRI is
able to propose a tailored risk approach encompassing, inter alia,
counter expertise, impact studies, regulatory intelligence, process
safety, or even innovatory assistance.
Training: schools of
higher education
and training centres partnering the CNRI offer a range of
particularly attractive courses, both by way of higher and further
education (risk management, pyrotechnics, risk-related law, HS&E
management, etc).
Communication: The
CNRI organises
symposiums as well as a series of conferences dubbed “Thursdays
with the CNRI”.
